Synopsis |
The objectives of this proposal are to provide a model and system of hierarchical reliable communication protocols to support distributed light-weighted object group applications in current asynchronous works. Distributed Communication Objects (DCO) is a set of hierarchical integrated protocols that achieve message ordering, atomicity, remote method invocation, group reconfiguration, multiple group membership change and fault-tolerance for both application and system object groups. DCO will free users from the concerns of the complex design of object communications, synchronization, co-operation and transparency. |
