| Synopsis |
A novel model and system called Object Group Platform is proposed. OGP enables information object with communication ability, providing object management and supporting environments (library, interface, dynamic topology etc.) into an integrated toolkit for distributed object-oriented (OO) application design and implementation over networks. The goal is to provide a distributed OO platform for distributed OO computing. By imbedding communication ability in an object, this approach makes the object completely responsible for its own modification, protection, execution and communication. This will relieve users from concern about designs of complex objects communication, synchronization and cooperation.
OGP composes of dynamic object configuration and communicating objects service systems and provides various mechanisms of message passing, dynamic group management to facilitate OO application software with high level abstraction, easy design and quick implementation. | ||
